What You’ll Need
- A grapevine or foam wreath base (14-16 inch)
- Black and orange ribbon
- Artificial fall leaves or black feathers
- A few small plastic spiders or a mini skull
- Hot glue gun
Instructions
1. Wrap ribbon around the base at an angle, overlapping slightly, until fully covered. Glue the ends to secure.
2. Hot glue artificial leaves or feathers in clusters around one-third of the wreath, rather than spacing them evenly — asymmetrical looks more natural.
3. Add your focal accent (a mini skull, a cluster of spiders) at the base of the leaf cluster.
4. Tie a ribbon bow at the top or bottom as a finishing touch, and attach a loop of ribbon at the back for hanging.
Tips
- Odd numbers of accent pieces (3 spiders, not 2 or 4) tend to look more intentional.
- Battery LED string lights woven through the wreath add a nice glow for evening visibility.
- Store flat in a bag after the season to keep the shape from crushing.
